These photos were taken during the Hari Raya Aidiladha at Kampung Melayu, Air Itam. DAP Air Itam has made inroad into Malay kampung. A photo will tell a thousand words.
I am glad that DAP has done a lot for the Malay community in Penang especially in your area. But I plea to you and all DAP colleagues that the appearance might not be always the true picture. People might want to appear respectful for those in power but might not necessary loyal to certain political believe. DAP has just won the battle for Penang but we have not won the war. Our roots are not deep enough not only in Malay areas but also in many Chinese areas. This is not the time to warrant a mission accomplished celebration. I would not worry at all if I read bad news about DAP in the mainstream newspaper but I would be very worry if those not so good evaluations are coming from the alternative medias. And these days I see alot of them.

The expectation on Obama is high. Same for the new Administration.
